at the TIKI VILLAGE in Moorea

"There is a unique feeling created in this small Polynesian Village that over looks a lagoon of magical colours. The experience of a wedding ceremony performed at the Tiki Village will be one to chariest for years to come. The Tiki Village also performs memorable Anniversary ceremonies for those who wish to renew their vows. Upon their arrival at the Tiki Village the couple is greeted by a festive band of local musician and Polynesian dancers. The bride is then escorted to the ceremonial hut where she is prepared for the wedding. Inside the hut she is massaged with Monoi and dressed like a Tahitian Princess. Meanwhile the groom is taken by canoe to a small beach where he is prepared for the ceremony. While on the beach the groom is tattooed (with a pen) and dressed like a Tahitian Chief. Afterwards the groom is returned to the village to meet his lovely Tahitian Princess who awaits him with the Priest and Polynesian Villagers. Then the ceremony starts…"
Three types of Wedding Ceremonies are proposed:
Package 1: Princess Wedding
(Ceremony duration: 45 to 60 minutes)
- An authentic Tahitian Village
- The Wedding Ceremony conducted by the Chief of the village and the High Priest
- A band of Local Musicians and villagers
- Beautiful leis and crowns of flowers for the couple
- A Tahitian Marriage certificate made of Tapa (palm bark parchment)
- A bottle of Champagne
- CD ROM with 35 photographs of the ceremony
- Transportation back to your hotel by minibus (*)
Package Net Rate per ceremony (tax included): 883 Euros
(*) from Sofitel Moorea Beach Resort : by minibus to a beach and then by canoe to the Tiki Village Theatre.
Package 2 : Royal Wedding
(Ceremony duration: 75 minutes)
All the above plus
- The couple arrives from their hotel by minibus
- After the Tahitian Ceremony the couple is carried by four Polynesian Warriors atop the Royal Chair and is taken on a grand procession around the Village
- A Romantic cruise on the Royal Outrigger canoe with a band of musicians and champagne
- A massage of 40 minutes approximately for the couple on the Royal Floating House
OPTIONAL: Honeymoon Night on the Royal Floating House (a) with Breakfast (no extra charge).
Available only on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
Package Net Rate per ceremony (tax included): 1103 Euros
(a) The Floating House is a Polynesian bungalow built on a large double outrigger canoe. The bungalow is simply furnished and equipped with basic facilities (no air-conditioning).
Package 3 : Royal Deluxe Wedding
(Ceremony duration: 90 minutes)

- A choice of Tahitian Mamas to sing to you during your Wedding Ceremony
- A Spectacular Tahitian dance show following your Tahitian Ceremony
Package Net Rate per ceremony (tax included): 1434 Euros
Cancellation Policy
The cancellation penalties are established as follows:
* Up to 2 days prior to wedding date : no penalties
* One (1) day prior to wedding date : 50% of total wedding rate forfeited
* On the day of the wedding date : 100% of total wedding rate forfeited
General Remarks
1) Rates included tax and are valid from January 01st to December 31st, 2011.
2) Weddings at the Tiki Village are traditional ceremonies. They are non-legal weddings.
3) Couples who get married at the Tiki Village on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays or Saturdays will enjoy a free Tahitian Feast.
4) For clients staying at hotel Sofitel Ia Ora Moorea, transfer will be provided by minibus to a beach and then by canoe to the Tiki Village.
5) Re: Royal and Deluxe Royal wedding ceremonies' option: Special Honeymoon Dinner with Champagne on board the Royal Floating House: 148 Euros per Couple
